Music is an important part of life at Mount Olive. Jon Strommen Campbell serves as Mount Olive's Cantor - song leader. He serves half time on the staff and in that role directs the Mount Olive choir and Mount Olive bell choir. In addition, he coordinates all worship planning and leads children's ensembles, brass and string ensembles during various seasons in the Church year.
You are invited to join the Mount Olive choir at any time, rehearsal is on Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.
You are also invited to join the Mount Olive bell choir at any time, rehearsal is on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.

Mount Olive Choir
The Mount Olive Choir is for adults and high school aged young adults. This choir meets weekly on Wednesday nights, usually beginning at 7:30 PM. All are invited to sing - and enjoy this fun and dynamic group! (Meets Sept.- May.)

Bell Choir
"Glory Bells" is our hand bell choir for adults. This group meets every Thurs. night at 7:30. The bells play about once a month. The only prerequisite for this ensemble is that you have basic music reading skills. Hand bells are a unique and beautiful instrument that almost anyone can pick up and play. (Meets Sept. - May)
Children's Music
Finally, children are a very important part of worship and music at Mount Olive. The children's choirs meet seasonally, and usually prepare music for special festivals, like Christmas and Easter. Please contact Jon if you want to learn more.
Choir practice is at 7:30PM unless otherwise noted. During Lent, choir practices after the 7PM service.
